A very cool christian group that has gained popularity of late. The album CRAVE,was beautiful. Quietly reminding me so much of another rock band but with a christian touch. In the spirit of the season give this a shot at your heart 🙂
Another new discovery of mine, BRING ME THE HORIZON 🙂 ,a very cool band . Awesome headbanging music *Rock On*
Check out their new album, titled: That’s The Spirit. I’ll give it an 8 (my opinion tho) loved all the songs save 1 or 2.
Lovely rock group, the genre is new to me though. SynthPop also known as Electropop, something i plan on exploring :). In the meantime, if you are open to new music and a techno fan this might be up your alley. Enjoy
It’s all the rave now, the words HELLO by Adele has been made almost a cult song of the moment, more covers than imaginable even the challenge on social media is un-missable. It’s the tear jerking song of the year, reminds you of the good, bad and ugly but really when the dust settles and your nostalgic haze clears up if you had been the one hurt would you pick up the epic selfish call of a lifetime to reminisce with someone who ripped your heart out.
I don’t think so. *looks unblinking into your face*
…..or would your answer be a yes. Tell me in your comment. 🙂
This has been right in my head the last couple of days. I’m not really a Rihanna fan but sometimes she makes something cool music and yes I do mostly Rock if you were wondering about my taste in music i.e Dead by April, Him, .
In the Yoruba kingdom, it is customary for the king to be ushered in to any event or anywhere with music. His title demands it and this King was no different, during his visit to my camp we were entertained by his entourage as he was ushered in and also during his speech they chorused his praises.
Info Bits – The musical instrument in the first picture is a Sekere. A Sekere is a melodic shaker; beads or cowrie shells beautifully wound around a gourd, shaken, beaten by fists occasionally and thrown in the air to create a festive mood. – The musical instrument in the last two pictures is a Talking Drum. The talking drum is an hourglass-shaped drum from West Africa, whose pitch can be regulated to mimic the tone and prosody of human speech.
As you view this image you can imagine the sound of the trumpet as it pierces the afternoon air. Imagined sound. Its silent sound as captured by me still rings even though you were not there. The power of images gives life to the words “Piercing Silence”.
