It’s Not This Time of Year Without…Fashion Shows and lots of it. Now is the time Fashion Houses, and the industry pump out Spring/Summer Collections. What’s In verses What’s Out, on every fashionista’s mind is did my favorite trend of the year make it into next years trends and what’s new?
I picked 2 silhouette shots taken during the just concluded GTB Fashion Weekend, David Tlale’s Collection was on show and i’ll be sharing my shots of that on Thursday on this blog. On a more quiet note my birthday was on Thursday and it was pretty quiet….*crickets chirping*…very quiet, i guess that’s what happens if it falls in between Monday and Thursday it naturally moves over to the weekend.

Jump into The Week

So…..its not my usual Monday post but everyone has that Monday morning where they drag themselves outta bed by their feet, do the motions for the day while their brain is half asleep. Yup, i had that Monday today…sigh
  It was for a good cause, i attended the just concluded #GTBFashionWeekend (Saturday and Sunday). The line up was for Enterprise in all its forms, from showcasing art to fashion to hosting business and fashion Master-Classes. It was well and truly packed with stuff to see and hear. I attended a Master-Class hosted by Tracy Reese ( For those who don’t know she has been responsible for clothing US First Lady Michelle Obama to at least 14 events), got to know her background and listened to some business advice and also the Fashion Show (which was really cool 🙂 )for that i’ll be posting the shots taken on Thursdays now.
To welcome you guys into a new week and wake myself up from my #MondayHaze, here’s a moment caught on camera of a man in uniform checking his shoe out 😀

Towering above in a high contrast sky is this stand alone High Tension Steel Tower. This was inspired by Cee’s Black & White Challenge: Isolated Objects.

Midweek Music: Division

Who or rather what is Tycho? 
Well if you listen to this track you’ll understand how awesome this project is…yeah it someone’s pet music project. Real cool tracks he has, started a while back in 2002 and is lead by  Scott Hansen. It’s genre is  American Ambient music and is a fusion of downtempo vintage-style synthesizers and ambient melodies.

Borderline

Today is the borderline Monday of the year. This is the 26th week of the year, we now straddle the true middle of the year.
So…what have you achieved so far this year? i can count only 2 things on my list struck off..sigh. Got alot more to look forward to achieving. How are your goals coming along, care to share in the comment below. You never know it might spur you to achieve more 🙂
